FIRM PROFILE

The firm was originally founded by Robert Hoffman in 1991. During the next twelve years Robert's dedication and due diligence advanced his business to new levels as he experienced continued business growth each year. 

In 2001 a partnership was formed with Mark West. With the combined experience, loyalty and perseverance of Robert and Mark the business soured to new levels requiring them to hire employees and move the location of the firm from their homes to an office building located in Gilbertsville, Pa  to better serve their clients.

The foundation of our firm is built on providing quality, affordable services to small businesses and individuals.  Our firm works as a team to continue in this course. 

The purpose of the Hoffman & West accounting firm is to provide top notch service in order to

(1) Legally cut taxes by utilizing effective tax laws

(2) Provide accounting services that will keep you informed of financial conditions

(3) Provide services for both individuals and businesses on an on-going basis

 

ROBERT A. HOFFMAN, CPA

Robert Hoffman graduated in 1974 from Penn State with a Bachelors degree in business.  He worked for various accounting firms and held the position of a company controller prior to launching his own tax and accounting business in 1991.  Robert has extensive experience in all aspects of tax preparation for both individuals and businesses.  Each year, Robert attends seminars to maintain his knowledge and expertise with the ever-changing tax laws.

     
MARK C. WEST, CPA

Mark West graduated in 1983 from Albright College with a Bachelors degree in accounting.  He has worked for various accounting firms and held a position as a company controller until starting his own tax and accounting practice in 1999.  He is currently certified as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and has extensive knowledge using other accounting software.  Mark has many years of experience in tax preparation for individuals and businesses.  He stays current with his expertise and knowledge of the ever-changing tax laws by attending various seminars.

JACQUELINE GLEASON, CPA

Our firm provides Quickbooks support to the small and medium size businesses.  We provide assistance in setting up, maintaining & utilizing Quickbooks to assist clients in the process of running and growing their business.
